The province of Granada is located to the Southeast of Andalucia. Next to this valley, we will experience beautiful routes on bicycle, through which we will get to know some of the most beautiful towns of the province. we will pedal by small local highways and asphalted ways, we will enjoy the landscape and the tranquility of inner ANDALUCIA.

1º Day:
Granada. Reception. Transfer to Hotel. Visit the Alhambra and the Generalife |
2º Day: Beginning in Granada, we head to the southwest, towards the Alhama of Granada, crossing a landscape of ample orchards, olive trees and almonds tree. Alhama, town of 6000 inhabitants, was conquered by the Catholic Kings in 1482, ten years before the taking of Granada. It conserves his old urban nucleus, of which the church of the "Encarnación", of gothic style, stands out. They also emphasize the edge of the Alhama river and the natural thermal water baths.

3º Day: We will leave Alhama of Granada, pedaling towards the west. The mountain ranges of Tejeda and Almijara to our left and in front is the mountain range of Loja. In these mountain ranges we will ride up to the port of Alazores, crossing the sierra Gorda mountain range and descending to Loja. Loja, with something more than 20.000 inhabitants, was declared Historic-Artistic. It is to emphasize the district "barrio de la Alcazaba" and Fountain of the Moor. The church of the "Encarnación" with its great tower of XVI century , was constructed over the ancient greater mosque.

4º Day: Next to the Genil river, affluent of the Guadalquivir, we will pedal crossing the fertile valley of Loja. Agricultural zone of rich natural soils and abundant water.
Crossing the sierra Beato of 1,155 meters. we will arrive in Montefrío, surrounded by olive tree orchards. Montefrío, with more than 6000 inhabitants, is declared Historic-Artistic. Emphasized is the its castle on an enormous rock. On foot of the castle extends its population including the church of the "Encarnación", known as "la Redonda", the church of San Antonio dating from the XVI century and the City council.

5º Day: Crossing the mountain range of Parapanda, we will arrive at Íllora, town that conserves its old Arab castle. A final ascent takes us to Moclín, to 1,107 meters high. Moclín. It emphasizes his Arab castle, declared National Monument. Within the same boundaries is the church of "Santo Cristo del Paño" and "el Pósito" from the XVI century.

6º Day: Descending next to the "Frailes" river, affluent of the "Genil", we will arrive at the fertile valley of Granada. Passing through Cattle pastures, birthplace of the poet Federico Garcia Lorca and Santa Fé, city where the surrender of Granada was signed at hands of king Boabdil, we will arrive again at Granada.
